Training on Produce Safety Rule for produce growers using the Cornell University curriculum in which produce growers will gain fundamental, science based knowledge for on farm food safety including produce risk assessment, implementation of Good Agricultural Practices and how to meet regulatory demands associated with the FSMA Produce Safety Rule including Introduction to Produce Safety; Worker Health, Hygiene & Training; Soil Amendments; Wildlife, Domesticated Animals, & Land Use; Agricultural Water (Production Water, Post-harvest Water); Post Harvest Handling & Sanitation; How to develop a farm food safety plan. This course will include the NEW Water Rule. We will be teaching it early in the course. You are welcome to come in the morning just for those updates if you have already been through the full course before.
