Profiler Certification

The certification program includes:

• DMI accuracy certification
• On-Track comparison runs on three dense-graded asphalt sections (outlined in AASHTO R 56-14)
  • Optional On-Track comparison run of permeable friction course (OGFC) section
• In-class topics and specifications review
• In-class ProVAL proficiency demonstration
• 25-question written exam
• Vertical verifications (i.e. bounce test and block test) outlined in AASHTO R 57-14
• For data to be considered for certification, it must be submitted on the same day it was collected.
