ACCUPLACER Test
ACCUPLACER is a comprehensive battery of tests to provide information about a students' English, reading and mathematics skills and is used for placement into initial classes at Arkansas State University-Jonesboro. The test is administered on computer in the Testing Center and exams are available a few days each month at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Score reports are available immediately upon completion of the test. You will receive one test score report and your official score will be delivered to the Admissions Office. We recommend that you retain your copy of the score report for future reference. We cannot send a score report to another institution.
To register for ACCUPLACER, pay $10 per test and provide payment confirmation to the Testing Center for assignment to the next test date. Test fees are nonrefundable and a reschedule automatically requires waiting until the next month's testing window.
A-State's Accuplacer re-test policy is as follows:
Students who do not achieve the required placement score on their initial test attempt may retest 7 days after the initial test date.
Students who do not achieve the required placement score after their second test attempt may retest for the third time 30 days after the second test date.
Students who do not achieve the required placement score after the third test attempt may retest 1 year from the first initial test attempt date.

All re-testing in the months of January, May and August will be scheduled one of the following ways:
1) In-person at the A-STATE Testing Center the week after classes begin.
2) Virtual Testing at home with a proctoring company provided by Accuplacer (additional $25 fee payable to the proctoring company).
